Sony has annouced the all new rewritable DVD/CD drives which is built on her latest 12th gen optical storage technology. With this new Sony DVD/CD drive, you can write data at the speed of 18x and fill up a 4.7GB DVD±R in five minutes.

There are two versions of this Sony DVD/CD drive which are external version and internal version. Both versions will come with Nero 7, the award-winning CD/DVD burning software, and compatible with Windows. If you are a Mac lover, you can get a DRX-830UL-T model of this Sony DVD/CD rewritable drive which comes with Roxio Toast 6 burning software instead of Nero.
