Haier Laptop Released, Ready to Fight Dell and HP

Haier Laptop

Haier, a big boy in refrigerator industry but a small baby in laptop industry, releases a brand new 14″ laptop in Korea. The model name of this Haier laptop is W61N which is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo CPU (945 chipset) which looks very promising for a decent speedy laptop.

Other specifications of  W61N model Haier Laptop include  14 inch WXGA LCD (1280×768) and a 80GB Hard Drive, and a webcam for video telephony and chatting.

This Haier laptop definitely looks very promising but there isn’t any word on pricing or availability.

Intel Mobile Processors Will Support Wi-Fi 802.11n Network Pretty Soon

Intel has announced that the next-generation of mobile processor will support 802.11n Wi-Fi network. Besides pushing and marketing dual core processors to fight against AMD, Intel is also focusing on the next-generation of Wi-Fi network – the 802.11n.

According to Intel spokeman, Intel is currently working with Buffalo, D-Link, Linksys and Netgear in testing and improving the 802.11n network stability, coverage and performance.
