Chi Mei Optoeletronics, a relatively unknown brand of HDTV manufacturer announced that they plan to go into mass production with its 47″ model of HDT

The 47-inch panel will feature a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution as compared to a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels of its 56-inch model. The QFHD panel will feature a 1,500:1 contrast ratio, dual-link DVI, and HDMI 1.3 alongwith a 1440p resolution. The Quad HD panel can also be applied for high-resolution graphic display.

Sharp has decided to combine the popular AQUOS LCD TV with a computer set for a whole new experience of Internet TV which is called Internet AQUOS computer.

The whole set of the Sharp Internet AQUOS computer comes with 20″ AQUOS LCD has a resolution of 1,366×768 dot, 1200:1 contrast ratio, 176 degree viewing angle and stereo speakers.

The computer part of of the Sharp Internet AQUOS Computer is powered by an Intel Core Duo T2300 (1.66 GHz) with 1 GB RAM and a 500 Gig hard drive. Besides that, the integrated digital / analog tuner allows you to record video and play tv channels.
