That's the case with Ford, launching its FordLink system for F-series pickups that consists of a tablet PC running Windows XP that's connected to the vast tubes of the Interwebs. </p>

<p>If you want to go all-out, you can get it with GPS, too, along with a full complement of small business management software and even a printer. Here's hoping those who want to get some office work done in the driver's seat accomplish most of their ministrations at stoplights and parked in driveways, and not on a two-lane blacktop at 80mph.</p>
